The Team Carolina concept began in the developing stages in 1999. After nearly 18 months of planning, the program was founded in 2001 by Mike Mulhall, Ralph Westphal, & Ken Rosenbaum to address the needs of the higher caliber players in North Carolina & South Carolina. We are very proud of the growth and reputation of our program. Our scope is that we want to expose our players to the higher level of play that will be required especially if they continue their sights beyond youth hockey. Team Carolina can help address those needs. We have had over our first five seasons players from not only North Carolina & South Carolina, but also Georgia, Virginia, & Florida. To date we have over 50 Alumni members that have gone on to College Preparatory schools, Junior A, Junior B, Junior C, NCAA D-III, & NCAA D-I.
